Where: This is an online workshop and will be held via Zoom.
Cost: $10. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Management rights clauses have found their way into almost all union contracts. The longer and more detailed these clauses get, the more they can undermine your ability to influence how workplace changes affect workers. Learn why these clauses are so dangerous and, more importantly, how to make sure workers have a voice no matter what the "management's rights" clause says.

This workshop will be facilitated by Don Taylor, the director of the School for Workers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Taylor specializes in teaching organizing, capacity building, and union leadership development.

Before joining the School for Workers in 2008, Taylor was an organizer for the United Electrical, Radio, and Machine Workers (UE), a business agent for HERE Local 26 in Boston, and education director for SEIU Local 1984 in New Hampshire. He is also a former steward and local president.
