Steward's Workshop: Thinking Like an Organizer (December)

This workshop is intended for stewards and elected officers who work closely with stewards. Please register only if this applies to you.

Join Labor Notes for an online workshop for shop stewards on “thinking like an organizer.” This workshop is based on this article of the same name.

Shop stewards are the face of the union for most members - the people members see day to day, and rely on for everything from basic questions about the job to handling complicated grievances.

But stewards are also in a great position to strengthen the union by getting more people involved: by thinking like an organizer.

Meet with activists from different unions across the country to learn about how to be more effective stewards by organizing.

When: Thursday, December 12
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Eastern (3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific).
Where: This is an online workshop and will be held via Zoom.

Registration fee
$25 - Registration plus a HALF OFF one-year subscription to Labor Notes
$10 - Regular registration

Consider adding a half-price subscription to the Labor Notes magazine to your registration (usually $30/year, but $15/year for workshop attendees who register with the half-price subscription)!
